Wednesday morning, he called 1947, said his PIN code, and booked a Thursday 10 AM slot at the same NMMC Airoli center. Done by 10:40. Bank KYC cleared Friday. His demat account was activated the same day.
Tuesday cost him a morning. Wednesday’s call cost him two minutes. Both outcomes are in that gap.

Not the card. The database. The card in Ranjit’s wallet was accurate in 2022. The UIDAI database still showed his old address. His bank checked the database. That is why the bank blocked his KYC.
