About company

Incorporated in 2014, Green Asia Impex Limited specialises in sourcing, processing, manufacturing, and exporting frozen shrimps and dried chillies. The company processes and exports frozen seafood and agri-commodities, mainly frozen shrimps and dried chillies. It supplies B2B customers, including importers, distributors, and food processors, domestically and internationally.

Product Portfolio:

Shrimps: They are engaged in the sourcing, processing, and export of shrimps catering to both domestic and international markets.

Dried chillies: They are engaged in the sourcing, processing and export of dried chillies catering to both domestic and international markets

The Company operates in both shrimp processing and chilli trading segments, offering a diversified agri-export portfolio. In shrimp, it processes and exports Vannamei, Black Tiger, and freshwater varieties in formats such as HOSO, HLSO, and PD. In chillies, it trades and exports key Indian varieties including Teja, Guntur Sannam, and Bydagi, catering to domestic and international demand based on heat and colour profiles.

With shrimp harvesting spanning February to October and chilli harvests concentrated between January and April, the dual-product strategy helps balance seasonality and ensures more consistent operations.

The Company currently runs a semi-automated shrimp processing facility in Unguturu, Andhra Pradesh (1,838.76 sqm), with installed capacities of 7,200 MTPA (block freezing) and 3,600 MTPA (IQF). To scale operations, it plans a new facility at Chennayagudem (4,955.69 sqm), adding ~16,200 MTPA capacity, significantly boosting processing capability and supporting export-led growth.

As of August 31, 2026, the workforce comprised 136 permanent employees.

Strengths and Risks

Strengths

Revenue: Grew by over 13% to 14% year-over-year, reaching ?383.80 crore to ?388.63 crore in fiscal 2026.

A significant portion of the net fresh issue proceeds (approximately ?40+ crore) is designated for capital expenditure to build a new processing facility at Chennayagudem, Andhra Pradesh, which is expected to substantially scale up its marine processing and value-addition capacity.

The business leverages automated block-freezing and IQF (individually quick frozen) capabilities, maintaining necessary food safety and export-grade compliance certifications required for international markets.

Risks

The seafood and shrimp export segment is heavily exposed to raw material price volatility, disease outbreaks in aquaculture/shrimp farming, and evolving international trade regulations (such as anti-dumping duties or import restrictions in key destination markets like China).

Operations and sourcing are heavily localized in Andhra Pradesh, creating regional dependency. Additionally, a notable share of international revenue is concentrated in specific foreign markets (e.g., China), leaving the business exposed to localized macroeconomic or trade policy shifts.

As an NSE SME-listed counter with a high minimum investment threshold per lot (?2,88,000), shares may experience limited post-listing secondary market liquidity and heightened price volatility.
