Strengths and Risks
Strengths
The company operates in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) segment, specializing in industrial safety shoes and boots. Its products target high-demand industrial sectors such as oil and gas, construction, mining, heavy engineering, automotive, and chemicals.
Acme Universal Safezone 9 manages multiple manufacturing facilities outfitted with advanced machinery (such as Desma PU direct injection and Orisol automated stitching machines). It maintains an extensive distribution and warehousing network across more than 40 Indian cities alongside an export footprint reaching the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and the Netherlands.
The company utilizes sophisticated design and process tracking software (like ICad3D and SAP S/4 HANA) and runs a dedicated testing laboratory. Its products comply with key domestic and international standards (such as IS 15298, EN ISO 20345, and ASTM F2413), cementing its credibility with corporate clients.
Risks
Despite steady revenue growth, the company’s net profitability has historically been modest. For instance, its Profit After Tax (PAT) margin stood at roughly 2.84% (?5.86 crore PAT on ?211.16 crore total revenue) in FY26, leaving limited buffer against unexpected cost escalations.
The company carries a notable debt load (total debt stood at ?58.05 crore in March 2026), resulting in a leveraged capital structure with a debt-to-equity ratio of approximately 1.10x.
The IPO is listed on the BSE SME platform, which typically features higher lot sizes (minimum retail investment requires 3,200 shares amounting to over ?2.27 lakh at the upper price band) and lower stock liquidity compared to mainboard listings.
