Strengths and Risks

Strengths

The company has built a strong presence in the Indian railway infrastructure space, specializing in turnkey coach furnishing, refurbishment, LHB/Vande Bharat coach projects, and toilet upgrade solutions.

Acme India boasts a robust order book pipeline (approaching nearly ?738 crore tied to railway tenders and execution mandates), providing multi-period revenue visibility.

The business has exhibited solid revenue scaling, growing to approximately ?263.71 crore in FY26 alongside consistent profitability expansion (with net profit reaching over ?24 crore).

Risks

The company’s business operations and revenues are heavily tied to the Indian Railways and government-backed orders. Any shifts in Ministry of Railways policies, budget outlays, or tender schedules can directly impair execution and financial performance.

Revenue streams are subject to pronounced seasonal concentration based on the timing of Indian Railways' tenders, project milestones, and budgetary execution cycles, which can cause uneven reporting periods.

Fulfilling large-scale infrastructure and refurbishment orders demands heavy working capital lock-in for raw materials, bank guarantees, and trade receivables, which has occasionally resulted in tight or negative operating cash flows during specific reporting cycles.
