Strengths and Risks
Strengths
Adroit operates a vertically integrated model covering core capabilities such as forging, precision machining, heat treatment, assembly, balancing, and testing, which ensures strict quality control and margin retention.
The company boasts a vast product catalogue spanning thousands of stock-keeping units (SKUs), catering to diverse mechanical specifications for propeller shafts and torque-transmission components.
The company has demonstrated healthy top-line and bottom-line scaling. Operating profits (EBITDA) and Profit After Tax (PAT) have shown steady expansion over recent fiscal periods, backed by robust return metrics like ROE and ROCE.
Risks
A significant share of business relies on a concentrated group of key automotive OEMs and Tier-1 partners. Any slowdown or structural shift in their vehicle segments directly impacts order volumes.
Demand for torque-transmission components and propeller shafts tracks automotive and commercial vehicle production cycles, making the business vulnerable to macroeconomic headwinds or downturns in auto sales.
Core operations depend heavily on the continuous supply and stable pricing of raw metals (such as structural steel and forged alloys). Unfavorable commodity price fluctuations can pressure operating margins if cost increases cannot be fully passed on.
